Think back to when you were a kid, when every big dream felt just a little out of reach, and how much it meant when someone believed in you.
That’s what the Spotlight Travel Fund is about.
The Spotlight Team is a group of young yoyo players who train year round as they work toward Nationals and Worlds. They stay committed to improving and representing the community. We already have generous sponsors support the team with ongoing mentorship, yoyos, string, apparel, etc, but the one missing piece is travel cost.
Travel costs can add up quickly, and that is where generous supporters can make a real difference.
Examples of what donations can support:
$10 helps cover a kids meal at a contest
$25 helps cover multiple meals
$50 you just treated the team to pizza
$100 helps cover a hotel stay
$250 covers a couple nights in a hotel
$500 can help fly a player across the country
$1,000 can help fly a kid to Japan for worlds!
And hopefully someone donates another $1000 so they can fly back home too!
